Duty Manager
Lebua Hotels & Resorts- Appraise appearance and efficiency of Front Office staff and report findings to the Assistant/ Front Office Manager.
- Authorize pay-out, cash advances and allowances according to established policies.
- Co-ordinate with Security Department in the investigations of irregularities.
- Inspect and ensure that 1st and 4th levels’ public areas are maintained to a standard which is required by the Hotel.
- Ensure that all midnight reports are done properly by going through the reports in the morning.
- Render assistance to the Assistant Managers when necessary in handling complaints.
- Conduct daily operation briefing for the Assistant Managers and Guest Services Agent in the absence of the Assistant Front Office Manager.
- Decide on the acceptance and rejection of bookings during high occupancy.
- Handle the transfer of guests during an overbooked situation.
- Inspect to ensure that VIP rooms are in order, escort and room-in guests of Presidential Suite, VVIPs and VIPs staying in suite and Marina Club rooms.
- Check high balance reports on Sundays and Public Holidays.
- Train and re-train new and existing staff to ensure consistency in service delivery to our guests.
- Supervise a team and is responsible for recruitment and selection of staff.
- Conduct performance appraisal and counselling of staff.
- Perform other duties delegated by the Assistant Front Office Manager or Front Office Manager.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in front office or guest service roles in a 5-star hotel environment.
- Previous supervisory or managerial experience is required.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities under high-pressure situations.
- High attention to detail to ensure service standards and public area maintenance.
