- Provide technical support and advice to operational staff on managing environmental impacts, including air pollution, wastewater, and industrial waste management. Conduct training, assessments, and recommend best practices for continuous improvement.
- Organize, audit, analyze, and report on environmental performance to internal teams and external regulatory bodies, ensuring compliance with environmental legislation and sustainability programs.
- Develop, implement, and maintain environmental management systems (EMS) to support sustainability goals, following company sustainability initiatives.
- Promote awareness of emerging environmental issues, both legislative and best practices, across all levels of the organization.
- Collaborate with oil & gas companies, government agencies, local authorities, and community groups on environmental matters and compliance.
- Implement action plans and environmental mitigation projects in alignment with the Environmental Master Plan to ensure environmental compliance and sustainable development.
- Preferred Experience: 3-5 years in environmental management or related fields.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or Environmental Engineering.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with international environmental standards such as ISO 14001, ISO 26000, GRI, DJSI, CDM, and CSR.
