Job Description:
• Develops new products or reformulated existing formulation.
• Research new raw materials for new products.
• Involves the first production to ensure product quality is met specification.
• Responsible for supervising and training of new products.
• Prepare and support documents related to R&D work to other functions e.g. BOM (Recipe), Specifications, Reports, SOP, Training, NPD Report, etc.
Key and Responsibilities:
1. Process/Product Development
• Generate new innovative products to support NPD calendar & Marketing activities.
• Seeking new product ideas & trends in the marketplace and tracking new ingredients' availability on the supply side.
• Seeking new technology to simplify the back of the house and improve quality consistency,
Ensure NPD product quality by providing Operation procedures, Sheet recipes, Planograms, Standard product quality, and ingredient specifications.
• Ensure commercialized NPD by providing Operation procedures, Standard product quality, and ingredient specifications.
• Conduct new product testing to ensure safety for serving in Store and Delivery Develop a relationship with the Supplier's R&D to cutting-edge new technologies & transfer the supplier's expertise.
2. Commercialized Process/Product
• Coordinate with the PCM Department for new ingredients and small ware specifications related to new products or improvement product launches.
• Coordinate and support the Training Department in developing an appropriate manual and training for new product or improvement product launches.
• Co-operate and support Marketing activities.
• Provide secondary shelf life for ingredients or product handling in our store and ensure compliance with RBI standards, FDA Thai, or Food Law.
• Provide new product information for Marketing & Agency Surveys and track Competitor activities.
3. Documentation
• Create SOP of new products and recipes to support.
• Research new product ideas & trends in the marketplace
• NPD report, Sensory report, etc.
