Senior Software Developer

Responsibilities

The Senior Developer plays the role of expert for a specific application or technology and oversees all the developments related to it.

Help in the development and the maintenance of our applications

• Provide effort estimations
• Develop code and conduct code reviews
• Implementing security measures and ensuring compliance with best practices.
• Perform unit tests
• Review and address issues raised during testing
• Help in the system deployment activities
• Help address production issues and provide technical support
• Participating actively in sprint activities

Manage a specific application or technology

• Help with technical design
• Oversee all developments for the application in charge
• Mentoring developers and providing technical guidance

Ensure that coding is of high quality

• Follow the company processes and best practices
• Ensure that the technical documentation is appropriate and kept up-to date

• Minimum 7 years of experience as a Java developer or with other object-oriented languages
• Extensive experience with Java EE, HTML 5, Boostrap 5, JavaScript
• Frameworks: Spring, Node.js, Vue.js
• Experience with database management (SQL/NoSQL)
• Some experience with Salesforce would be a big advantage
• Willing to learn new skills
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment
