R&D Support Engineer (based in Chonburi)

The R&D Support Engineer will support our R&D team in the designing and development of automotive accessories, ensuring timely delivery of technical solutions as per project schedule. The position will also collaborate closely with the R&D teams in Denmark and Australia.

• Creation of 2D drawings for production and documentation.
• Support the lead designer on projects (model, plan, timeline etc.).
• Work with the project assistant to establish BOM and additional information in C5.
• Participate as needed in meetings with the customers to define and get an understanding of project scope.

• Around 2-3 years of experience in a design/support engineer capacity.
• 3D modelling experience with Solidworks, including a 3D way of thinking.
• Experience designing for the production of injection molded plastic, casted rubber, aluminum extrusions, extruded plastic and rubber, and sheet metal parts and requirements on 2D production drawing material for these parts.
• Know-how in using C5.
• Knowledgeable in the use of PDM system controlling configurations.
• Understanding of production technologies such as CNC machining.
• Good verbal and written communication in English.
