Project Manager (Exhibition)
WORLDEX G.E.C. COMPANY LIMITED- Develop a detailed project plan outlining the timeline, goals, milestones, and deliverables for the exhibition.
- Identify the exhibition’s objectives and ensure they align with the overall marketing strategy and goals of the company
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define the exhibition concept, theme, target audience, and key messaging.
- Prepare and manage the budget for the exhibition, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficient resource allocation.
- Monitor expenditures throughout the project, making adjustments as needed to stay within the budget.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, sales, logistics, and PR teams, to ensure smooth execution.
- Provide guidance and direction throughout the project to keep teams aligned with goals and deadlines.
- Maintain regular communication with internal and external stakeholders, keeping them updated on the project’s progress.
- Prepare status reports, highlighting key milestones, risks, and any required changes.
- After the exhibition, provide a debrief report, including an analysis of performance, visitor engagement, and ROI.
- Measure key performance indicators (KPIs) such as foot traffic, leads generated, and customer engagement.
- Conduct a post-event debrief with the team to identify successes, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Event Management, Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in project management, with a specific focus on exhibitions, trade shows, or event management.
- Experience working with logistics, vendor management, and marketing teams in planning and executing large-scale events or exhibitions.
- Proven track record in managing budgets, timelines, and multiple stakeholders across various departments and organizations.
- Ability to create detailed project plans, including milestones, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Proficient in managing the full lifecycle of an exhibition, from concept through execution and post-event evaluation.
- Strong client and stakeholder management skills, ensuring that expectations are met and maintained throughout the project.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams, including marketing, logistics, sales, and operations.
- Experience in delegating tasks, motivating team members, and ensuring that everyone works toward the common project goal.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to handle last-minute challenges and ensure smooth execution of the exhibition.
- Highly organized with an ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining high attention to detail.
- Strong time-management skills to ensure that all aspects of the exhibition are completed on time and within scope.
- In-depth understanding of the exhibition industry, including current trends, audience engagement techniques, and best practices.
