Assistant Project Manager
WORLDEX G.E.C. COMPANY LIMITED- Assist the Project Manager in developing and executing sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue goals for exhibitions.
- Help in identifying potential clients, securing booth sales, sponsorships, and event participation from exhibitors.
- Track and report on sales performance, ensuring timely updates to the Sales Manager and leadership.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, providing excellent customer service and support throughout the sales cycle.
- Serve as a point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, negotiating contracts, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Regularly follow up with clients before, during, and after exhibitions to ensure continued business and retention.
- Identify and research new business opportunities, including potential exhibitors, sponsors, and partners.
- Actively seek new leads through market research, networking, and attending industry events.
- Assist in creating tailored proposals and sales presentations to attract new business.
- Work with the sales, marketing, and event teams to ensure successful exhibition planning and execution.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns to attract exhibitors and attendees.
- Assist in executing marketing plans that align with the exhibition’s goals and help drive booth sales.
- Participate in social media promotion and online marketing efforts to generate interest and leads for the exhibition.
- Regularly generate and analyze sales reports, tracking performance, sales targets, and pipeline status.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts to the Project Manager, helping to adjust sales strategies when necessary.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify areas for improvement in the sales process.
- Work with the finance team to ensure payments are processed and collected efficiently.
- Use CRM software to manage leads, customer information, and follow-up actions.
- Ensure all client communications, sales activities, and interactions are accurately logged in the CRM system.
- Maintain up-to-date records of client preferences, sales history, and future exhibition opportunities.
- Participate in regular team meetings to provide updates on sales progress and discuss project timelines.
- Monitor and review the performance of sales team members, providing feedback to improve effectiveness.
- Address any client concerns or issues during the sales process and provide solutions to resolve them.
- Manage conflicts between clients or exhibitors, ensuring a smooth and positive exhibition experience for all parties.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Sales, Business Administration, Event Management, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in sales, preferably in the exhibition or event management field.
- Proven track record in B2B sales, client management, and working in trade shows, exhibitions, or similar environments.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong sales skills with experience in driving revenue through client acquisition and retention.
- Ability to negotiate contracts, handle client objections, and close deals efficiently.
- Proficient in identifying new business opportunities and developing relationships with potential clients.
- Knowledge of the exhibition industry, including booth setup, space selling, event planning, and attendee engagement strategies.
- Familiarity with exhibition floor plans, booth requirements, and how to promote booth space to potential clients.
- Understanding of event marketing, customer targeting, and how to drive traffic to exhibitions or trade shows.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both in Thai and English, to communicate with clients, internal teams, and vendors.
- Strong presentation skills to showcase exhibition opportunities to potential clients.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and manage last-minute adjustments in exhibition or sales strategies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with sales management software.
