Product Development Senior Coordinator (Jewelry)

Job Description (Short Version):

We are seeking a Product Development Senior Coordinator to lead the creation and innovation of jewelry products, ensuring they meet quality standards and are delivered on time. The ideal candidate will oversee the entire development process, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure that all product specifications are accurately updated before submission to customers. The candidate does not need CAD-making skills but must know how to check CAD designs for accuracy.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead product development from concept to final production, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and timelines.
2. Collaborate with designers and CAD technicians to verify design feasibility and accuracy, ensuring samples meet quality standards.
3. Manage project timelines, ensuring customer samples are completed and delivered as scheduled. Coordinate with the customer on their need, update the status on timely manner.
4. Coordinate with production and QA teams to ensure prototypes and final products meet quality expectations.
5. Maintain and update the CAD/CAM library, including revisions and final versions, to ensure proper documentation and accessibility.
6. Coordinate with Design Master Team to update product specification in system. Verify product specifications, pricing, and descriptions before sending to customers.
7. Monitor market trends and customer feedback to identify opportunities for new product innovations.
8. Prepare regular progress reports for senior management and address any project delays or issues.

KPIs:

• Sample delivery on time: 95% adherence to scheduled deadlines.
• CAD/CAM library accuracy and completeness: 100%.
• On-time prototype approval rate: 95%.
• Product innovation success rate (new products launched vs. planned): 80%.

Qualifications:

• Good command in English.
• 5-7 years of experience in product development, preferably in the jewelry or luxury goods industry.
• Strong knowledge of jewelry materials and manufacturing processes (lost-wax casting), including CAD/CAM checking, and other jewelry techniques.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
• Experience in managing product timelines, ensuring on-time sample delivery, and handling client communications.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams.
• Excellent organizing skills in managing a CAD/CAM library, tracking design revisions and final versions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and strategically.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills, especially when coordinating between teams and clients.
• Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Jewelry Design, or a related field.
