Supplier Quality and Efficiency Specialist – South East Asia

- Generate and maintain APQP documentation including new & existing product PPAP documentation, ISO work instructions, process maps, SOP’s, and CAPA’s
- Utilize quality tools to identify root cause, document and implement sustainable solutions. Tools to include 8D, 5 why, fishbone diagrams, histograms, capability studies, Cpk and control charting as well as others.
- Conduct external supplier audits, as well as start to administer the audits, under the guidance of the Director of Global Quality, in the ARAS quality software.
- Responsible for ensuring quality management system documentation and SOP’s are up to date and current. This also will involve ensuring approved documents are distributed to the various MiTek facilities.
- Responsible for the data collection and reporting of quality measurement metrics at various MiTek supplier facilities.
Perform follow up “audits” of implemented Corrective Action/Preventative Actions to ensure that effective actions have been implemented. Will also assist with the investigation of quality issues that arise within the company.
- Responsible for assisting with the development, documentation and product qualifications
- Ability to work more than 40 hours core hours weekly, as required to meet customer and project requirements for conference calls and meetings that cross multiple time zones.
ESSENTIAL TASKS
- Perform administrative functions such as reviewing and writing reports.
- Enter and update information into ARAS (Quality Management System).
- Administer approval, audit and documentation process using APQP methods
- Answer phones, support team on conference calls and with presentations as needed
- Maintain core corporate metrics for all facilities within Mitek organization support improvement initiatives
