Responsibilities
Project Planning and Coordination:
• Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and construction strategies.
• Coordinate with design and engineering teams to ensure construction plans align with project specifications.
• Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines.
Budget and Cost Management:
• Prepare and manage project budgets.
• Track expenditures and ensure the project remains within financial constraints.
• Approve purchase orders and invoices related to construction activities.
Contract Management:
• Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
• Resolve any disputes or issues that arise with contractors.
Safety and Compliance:
• Develop and enforce safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including environmental and safety standards.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections.
Quality Control:
• Implement quality control procedures to ensure construction meets specified standards.
• Conduct regular inspections to verify the quality of work performed.
• Address any deficiencies and implement corrective actions.
Team Leadership and Communication:
• Lead and mentor a team of construction professionals, including supervisors, foremen, and laborers.
• Facilitate effective communication among project stakeholders.
• Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management.
Problem Solving:
• Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that could impact the project.
• Develop and implement solutions to overcome construction challenges.
• Ensure timely resolution of construction-related problems.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in construction management, preferably in the chemical or industrial sector.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and project management principles.
• Experience with budget management and cost control.
• In-depth understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards.
• Proficient in project management software and tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
