Golf Operations Manager
สมาคมราชกรีฑาสโมสรTo co-ordinate, manage and organize, in conjunction with the Sports Manager, the golf operations within the club, including competitions, matches and society business, whilst ensuring all details of those are properly communicated to both members and visitors.
Responsibilities:
- Member Golf
1. To pro-actively plan, organize and co-ordinate major clubs’ days – to include but not limited to the following:
Club Invitation Day, Club Midweek Captains Day, Captains Day, Club Championship, Presentation Evening.
2. To liaise with Competitions Organizer to agree budget, advertising, food, prizes and co-ordinate events with all other managers.
3. Attending all Major Club days, to run and organize in conjunction with competitions organizer and Sports Manager.
4. To ensure that all daily tee sheets are generated and populated well in advance of bookings.
5. To ensure all competition and match entry sheets or start sheets are posted on the relevant Club noticeboard within the prescribed timescale. Junior and ladies’ notices are also to be displayed as required.
6. Where necessary to ensure all start sheets are then typed up and posted on the relevant boards around the club and distributed to the key staff within the organization.
7. When catering is involved ensure the bar and catering staff are fully aware of numbers, timings, and costs
8. When required ensure all members representing the Club are aware of the key match details.
9. Courtesy & Reciprocal Administration. Arrange reciprocal and courtesy golf at other clubs.
10. Support the junior golf convenor to help ensure there is an active junior section and program of competitions, coaching and events.
11. Co-ordinate with Captain’s committee and pro shop, planning and running golf events.
- Communication / General
1. To act as the Chub’ for communication for members and visitors through appropriate communication channels including email and noticeboards.
2. To provide weekly itinerary sheets detailing all activities on the golf course and in the Clubhouse. Specifically, these will need to include competition start time, society golf and catering activity, function details and any other usage.
3. To deal with any member or visitor enquiry in person through the office.
4. To assist in the efficient management of the office and where necessary help in managing the Club premises to ensure maximum member and visitor satisfaction.
5. To assist with distribution of notices for Club AGM / EGMs, subscriptions, and any Club
meetings.
6. To attend Captain’s Committee Meetings, and any other sub-committee meetings as required.
7. Develop service standards and procedures and staff training guidelines.
- Events Marketing
1. In control of the development of marketing materials for Division events promotion, ensure that Sports Manager / GM is informed of all activities.
2. Set an example for the staff to follow to turn all members’ contact into a sales opportunity by informing guests of the following: Current or upcoming specials in the division and introducing other services.
- Administration
1. Control the division of Budgets and Forecasts with Golf Section Committee and Sports
Manager.
2. Review daily open and close checklists.
3. Review daily and monthly report and propose the improvement plan.
4. Review and follow up on all outstanding or in process work orders.
5. Ensure all Management / operational and section’s meetings are attended by a representative from Division.

1. Interview, hire, discipline and terminate staff together with Sports Manager when necessary.
2. Develop training guidelines and co-ordinate with the Sports Manager and Sports Supervisors to communicate those guidelines with staff.
3. Write employee performance reviews.
4. Strive to improve English communication skills in staff.
