- Develop production grade Apache Spark applications and libraries using PySpark and Python for Data Products
- Develop and ensure high standard of quality and maintainable code by applying good coding practices.
- Apply test-driven development (TDD) to data analytics applications such as data pipeline packages and data transformation libraries.
- Work in cross-functional teams of functional analyst, project manager, other engineers as well as work closely with the in an agile way on requirements and deliverable.
- Ensure SLA and provide the greatest experience for data users by collaborating closely with the Data Operations and Data Product teams.
- Proficient in application development for Apache Spark and understand distributed data processing theory.
- Understand data pipeline development concept.
- Extensive knowledge of code design, object-oriented programming, and clean code concepts.Understand SOLID, KISS, and DRY principles.
- Hands-on experiences in test-driven development (TDD).
- Experienced in the automated software and data pipeline development and deployment flow (CI/CD).
- Experienced in implementing python-based projects.
- Strong coding skill in Python and PySpark.
- Strong knowledge in version control.
- Basic understanding in statistical methods will be a plus.
