EHS Officer

- Manage to ensure all (Workplace Safety and Health) WSH related activities within the company are compliance with legal and other relevant requirement.
- Maintain and update regulatory documentations and records
- Provide WSH direction, assistance and support to assure site WSH improvements
- Responsible for the establishment, implementation and maintenance of an effective WSH Management System and programs including Emergency Preparedness Program, Risk Management Program, Awareness and Training Program and etc.
- Review and develop WSH policies and procedures.
- Manage the development of the certifications from third parties in relation of WSH, such as ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
- Lead company Environmental Health and Safety Committee
- Lead Company Emergency Response Team, including regular training, practice drills and real emergency response
- Demonstrate leadership to follow up on accident/incident investigations and control measures, including reactive measures and proactive measures.
- Perform regular WSH audits and inspections.
- Represent the Company to outside agencies, media and auditors on WSH related matters.
- Perform as a key member in development team for the design of Wastewater Treatment Facilities and Odor Control Facilities
- Managing and monitoring the performance of wastewater treatment facilities and odor control facilities, to ensure the discharge/emission to meet national regulatory requirements.
- Establish and managing on-site laboratory to monitor wastewater treatment facilities and liaise with water department for monitoring result
- Provide essential training to the operator of wastewater treatment facilities and odor control facilities
- Represent the Company to outside agencies, media and auditors on environmental related matters, such as submit related data, apply for related license, conduct compliance/ surveillance audit, and etc.
- Any other ad hoc job assigned by the Line Managers.
