- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
- Plan and oversee purchasing activities to ensure timely acquisition of high-quality products and supplies.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Negotiate contracts and terms to secure the best value for the company while maintaining quality standards.
- Manage and monitor the purchasing budget, ensuring cost-effective procurement without compromising on quality.
- Coordinate with the inventory and logistics teams to ensure optimal stock levels and timely delivery of products.
- Monitor and analyze market trends to forecast future procurement
- Ensure all purchasing activities comply with legal regulations and company policies.
- Assess and mitigate risks associated with supply chain disruptions, vendor performance, and market volatility.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the purchasing team to enhance their skills and performance.
- Age 30-45 years.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration,or a related field.
- A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in procurement.
- Strong knowledge of agricultural products, market trends, and supply chain management.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a proven track record of securing favorable terms and conditions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in managing and developing a team.
