Position : Factory Manager
Basic salary : negotiable
Working Days: Monday – Saturday
Time: 8.00 – 17.00
Responsibilities
1. Operations Management:
o Supervise all aspects of the factory's production process, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
o Ensure the production targets are met in terms of volume, quality, and time.
o Monitor and improve production processes to reduce downtime, waste, and costs.
o Oversee machinery maintenance, repair, and upgrades.
2. Staff Management:
o Manage and lead a team of factory employees, including supervisors, technicians, and laborers.
o Ensure the factory is properly staffed, including recruitment, training, and development of personnel.
o Promote a safe working environment and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
o Conduct regular performance reviews and address any personnel issues.
3. Quality Control:
o Ensure products meet the required quality standards and customer specifications.
o Implement and oversee quality control processes to detect and address production issues.
o Coordinate with quality assurance teams to maintain and improve product standards.
4. Inventory and Supply Chain Management:
o Oversee raw materials and finished goods inventory management to ensure adequate stock levels.
o Work with procurement teams to manage the flow of materials to ensure timely production.
o Coordinate with logistics and shipping teams to ensure products are delivered on time.
5. Budgeting and Cost Control:
o Develop and manage the factory’s budget to optimize resources and reduce production costs.
o Analyze financial reports and work to reduce waste and improve profitability.
6. Health, Safety, and Compliance:
o Ensure all health and safety protocols are adhered to and that factory operations comply with local regulations.
o Conduct regular safety training sessions for factory staff.
o Maintain environmental compliance and promote sustainability in manufacturing processes.
7. Continuous Improvement:
o Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements in production workflows.
o Use Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies to streamline operations and improve
