- Record day to day financial transactions into accounting software ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Utilize and maintain accounting software to manage and process financial data.
- Generate daily sales reports and manage cash sales ensuring proper recording and reconciliation.
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accurate recording of transactions.
- Reconcile supplier Statements of Account (SOA) with accounting software to resolve discrepancies.
- Oversee cashflow management, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operational needs.
- Reconcile revenue recordings with the POS system to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Maintain and update the Fixed Asset Register, including monthly calculations for depreciation and amortization.
- Post month-end journal vouchers (JVs) and ensure all entries are accurate and timely.
- Reconcile current accounts to ensure accurate and complete financial records.
- Develop and maintain financial budgets, monitoring performance and variances.
- Prepare tax calculations and ensure timely and accurate tax submissions in compliance with local regulations.
- Prepare and present Monthly Management Information System (MIS) reports for management review.
- Prepare monthly variance analysis reports, providing detailed explanations for any discrepancies.
- Monitor and manage bank account balances and petty cash funds to ensure proper liquidity and usage.
- Any other task assigned by the manager.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Prior experience in an accounting role, preferably within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
- Knowledge of accounting software and systems.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other financial tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve financial issues. Strong accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and reconciliations.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with management and resolving issues.
- Familiarity with the Thai tax system and regulatory compliance.
