Location: Rayong
Salary: 120,000 – 150,000 THB
We are looking for an accomplished Utility Manager to oversee plant's utility operations in Rayong. This role is crucial for driving efficiency and ensuring smooth utility functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in power plant operations and excellent proficiency in English communication. Flexibility is required for a six-day work week during the greenfield phase.
Responsibilities:
• Direct and optimize the functioning of boilers and turbines to enhance steam and power production.
• Continuously monitor and adjust gas and steam usage to reduce waste and enhance performance.
• Identify operational discrepancies and promptly implement corrective measures.
• Collaborate with electrical and instrumentation teams to ensure smooth plant operations.
• Operate and maintain essential utility systems, including D.M. plant, boiler, turbo-generator, and air conditioning, to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Manage chemical use and oversee regular maintenance activities for utility equipment.
• Coordinate with the process department to execute scheduled tasks.
• Monitor and control steam and water parameters, executing preventive measures for any deviations.
• Conduct safety checks, including turbine, boiler, and hydro testing, ensuring an accident-free environment.
• Engage in QC meetings and continuous professional development initiatives.
• Manage water treatment processes and uphold zero liquid discharge compliance.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering
• Good command of English, both oral and written
• Preferably experienced in power plant operations
• Willingness to work six days weekly during the greenfield phase
• Highly flexible and adaptable
