Finance & Accounting Manager

Overview :
Day-to-day responsibility for performing complex accounting activities in accordance with accounting principles and standards to control the organization’s financial resources and ensure that it complies with all relevant regulations, laws, and reporting requirements, including monitoring and reporting organizational financial performance by interpreting and analyzing all financial statements including balance sheet, cash flow, profit and loss accounts, ratios and initiate corrective actions as and when required.

Responsibilities :

• Plan, organize, and execute financial tasks and projects of the organization.
• Lead the month-end closing process, complete monthly financial reports for 2 groups of parent companies, and conduct monthly financial forecast.
• Provide an analysis of revenue, expenses, cash flows, and balance sheets on monthly/ quarterly/ annual basis for 2 groups of parent companies, and present the key factors to the management.
• Monitor and manage cashflow and bank balance to ensure sufficient funds for daily operation, investment plan, and dividend to shareholders.
• Evaluate the financial performance of the organization and measure returns on investments and cost efficiency.
• Leads planning, forecasting and budgeting activities with business partners to achieve business and company goals.
• Coach and support team members on work plans and day-to-day operation to ensure the quality and efficiency of the accounting team.
• Assists the top management both locally and overseas to make financial analysis, provide value added to the business operation, and provide input for decision making.
• Participates in the execution of changes to procedures, policies, and systems to facilitate expansion, and scaling of the business.
• Ensure the compliance of company policies, local requirements, and governance.
• Prepare Corporate Income Tax computation with BOI investment promotions and review all monthly and annual tax filings.
• Monitors and manages business processes to comply with corporate procedures & policies, tax regulations and related laws to ensure a strong level of integrity and compliance.
• Acts as a focal point and leads internal control audits, statutory audits, and tax audits until the end of the audits.

•     Bachelor or Master Degree in Accounting

•     10-12 years of work experience in Finance/Accounting functions including audit firms
