• Oversee the merchant onboarding process, ensuring timely and accurate setup of new accounts. • Conduct thorough KYC/KYM checks on merchants to verify their identities, assess risk levels, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Develop and maintain standardized procedures for merchant onboarding to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
2. Risk Management and Compliance:
• Monitor merchant transactions and activities to identify and mitigate potential risks, including fraud and compliance violations.
• Implement and enforce compliance protocols to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Collaborate with the risk management team to develop strategies for minimizing merchant related risks.
3. Merchant Relationship Management:
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with merchants, serving as a trusted advisor and advocate for their needs.
• Conduct regular check-ins with merchants to gather feedback, address concerns, and identify opportunities for partnership growth.
• Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to support merchant retention and expansion efforts.
4. Team Leadership and Development:
• Provide guidance and support to junior members of the merchant operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Facilitate training sessions to ensure team members are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in their roles.
• Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that values diversity, equity, and professional growth.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field; Good command of English;
• 5+ years of experience in merchant operations, e-payment services, or related fields.
• In-depth knowledge of KYC/KYM principles, AML (Anti-Money Laundering)& BOT (Bank of Thailand) regulations.
• Strong understanding of e-payment technologies, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
• Proven track record of effectively managing merchant relationships and resolving issues in a fast-paced environment
Work location: Unilever house buidling, 7th floor
Work 5 days per week 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
