Corporate Compliance Officer (Legal&Compliance)

- Develop and implement a compliance program to ensure the organization operates in accordance with the laws
- Perform compliance audits to determine whether establish protocols are being followed and where can be improved
- Monitors all operational processes and procedures using a compliance management system to ensure that the company complies with all legal regulations and ethical standards
- Manages information flow by researching, recording and analyzing data and information with a regular flow of information and conducting compliance risk assessments, to ensure that the business runs smoothly
- Conducts regular assessments to determine whether policies are compliant with the law
- Monitoring and act as a contact person on all matters to compliance and legal e.g. policy, rules, update on compliance guidelines, PDPA but not limited
- Develop internal company policies and see that they are respected
- Constantly report to management concerning the organization’s compliance with laws and regulations
- Take action in dealing with noncompliance situations, creating realistic plans to overcome
- Communicate with management and employees and make sure everyone is aware of what they need to do to comply with internal and external laws and regulations.
- Giving advisory on legal and compliance to management and employees both internal and external that may relate to Company’s matters.
- Maintain up to date written documentation and policies related to the organization's business activities.
- Create compliance resource library for management and employees to reference when have questions.
- Monitoring/Control/Giving Advisory/Safekeeping on Company’s Documentation e.g. PDPA and any other documentation that relates to company’s matters and/or line manager have instructions
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, law, finance, business administration or any other relevant field.
- 5+ years prior experience in risk management or compliance roles.
- Superior attention to detail in order to identify and correct risky practices.
- Must be a strong communicator and capable of expressing oneself clearly both speaking and in writing.
- Good organizational skills.
- Ability to function independently and as part of a team.
- Communication skills ensure that the compliance officer can successfully communicate their findings, ideas and plans to both management and employees.
- Requires the ability to read a variety of correspondence, reports, forms, etc.
- Requires the ability to prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, requisitions, forms, evaluations, budgets, etc. using prescribed formats and confirming to all rules of punctuation, grammar, diction, and style.
- Requires the ability to speak before groups of people with poise, voice control and confidence.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Risk assessment skills.
- Attention to detail is needed to spot certain aspects of rules and regulations that can easily be overlooked.
- Moral integrity is important because the compliance officer typically needs to understand and promote the importance of complying with rules and regulations.

- Exemplify strong knowledge of industry protocols and best practices.
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to accurately interpret complex documents and policies.
- Strong time management and organizational skills and able to meet deadlines.
