Lanta Cruise, Co. LTDwas originally established in 2005 as an entity to build and fit the pontoon ferries for Songserm Tran Service Co., Ltd. The shipyard was unofficially called Khunsamut (Warrior of the Sea). Khunsamut Marine Shipyard became an official trade name for Lanta Cruise in 2020. It has been registered at the Department of Trade as a small to mid-sized shipyard that provides services for ship repair, re-fitting, engine maintenance to various type of marine vessels.
