Seiko Instruments (Thailand) Ltd. (abbreviated as SIT) is a watch part manufacturing location for the SII (Seiko Instrument Inc.) Group. The company was founded in 1989 and has based it growing business upon the manufacturing and assembly of precision parts.Today, SIT is a key manufacturing base for SII Group's micromechatronics business, responsible for manufacturing and assembling hard disk components and other ultraprecision components. While manufacturing for the SII Group's micromechatronics business is handled at SIT,development and design take place in japan, and a marketing and sales base is location in San Jose, California.
