บริษัท โตชิบาคอนซูมเมอร์โปรดัคส์ (ประเทศไทย) จำกัด ก่อตั้งเมื่อปี พ.ศ. 2532 โดยได้รับการสนับสนุนจากกลุ่ม B.O.I. เริ่มดำเนินการผลิตในปี พ.ศ. 2533 โดยทำการผลิตตู้เย็นและในปี 2539 ทำการขยายการผลิตในส่วนของตู้เย็นและเครื่องซักผ้า โดยบริษัทได้รับการแต่งตั้งให้เป็นศูนย์กลางการผลิต ผลิตภัณฑ์เครื่องใช้ไฟฟ้าในครัวเรือนในภูมิภาคนี้ จากความไว้วางใจนี้บริษัทฯ ได้ตระหนักถึงภาระหน้าที่สำคัญ ในการที่จะยกระดับมาตรฐานเพื่อให้เทียบเท่ามาตรฐานสากล โดยเน้นถึงการพัฒนากระบวนการผลิตรวมถึงระบบการบริหารคุณภาพอย่างต่อเนื่อง ด้วยความพยายามและความร่วมมือของพนักงานในทุกระดับ ทำให้บริษัทได้รับการรับรองระบบคุณภาพตามมาตรฐาน ISO 9002 จากสำนักงานมาตรฐานผลิตภัณฑ์อุตสาหกรรมในปี พ.ศ. 2538 นับได้ว่าเป็นพื้นฐานที่จะนำไปสู่การพัฒนาระบบงานและเป็นการเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพในการผลิตสินค้าคุณภาพออกสู่ท้องตลาดเพื่อสนองความต้องการของผู้บริโภคต่อไปในอนาคต

สวัสดิการดี ถ้าได้ภาษาด้วยเงินเดือนก็ต่อรองเงินเดือนได้สบาย พักหลังๆเปลี่ยนแปลงวันหยุดบ่อยมีการประเมิน performance ซึ่งมีผลต่อโบนัสที่จะได้ในแต่ละรอบ
