About us
Our client is a co-investor company between Japanese and Thai businesses that leads an industry in Thailand. They are now seeking an Accounting Finance Manager to support this rapidly growing company.
What you'll be doing
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the finance and accounting department.
- Monitor, analyze accounting data, and prepare financial reports or statements.
- Implement and enforce appropriate accounting methods, policies, and principles.
- Coordinate with and respond to inquiries from internal/external auditors, group companies, and the Group HQ in Japan.
- Regularly provide financial reporting packages, including explanations and variance analysis.
- Provide flash forecasts and advise business management to support fiscal objectives.
- Aid in business decision-making by offering P&L analysis, trend analysis, licensee reporting, and financial planning, including annual budgets and re-forecasting.
- Review and manage asset-related activities, including cash management, reconciliations, reserve provisions, and inventory turnover.
- Enhance performance by evaluating processes across teams and service providers to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Coordinate the preparation of presentations for the Board of Directors and senior management.
- Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives.
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required; advanced degrees in related fields are strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance accounting Manager or business analysis.
- Professional fluency in either English or Japanese.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- CPD Certification is required.
