Renewable Energy Project Developer

• Work towards solar, wind and other others renewable projects

• Identify and assessments, regulatory feasibility and approval opportunities that help the Company meet our goals and overall development objectives

• Produce a business case for each development opportunity and each specific project, communicate the business case to senior management to obtain formal approval before proceeding

• Project management of the development activities, reporting on progress to the board

• Negotiate with lenders, investors and/or joint venture parties needed to build our projects, ensure maximise the profit and return on investment to the Company

• Coordinate with internal Technical, Financial, and Legal teams and other stakeholders to implement and accelerate all project related work leading to decision on investment as per internal procedures.

• Contribute to the development and implementation of short and longer term strategies for developing new renewable energy projects.

• Negotiate, organize, coordinate, manage and control the sales of new projects and the follow up to get the best possible results

• Estimate BoQ, coordinate procurement and construction/installation of the projects

• Support and coordinate in carrying out studies and researches to make the projects more visible

• Willing to work aboard, ie. Philippines

Other tasks

• Complete work on several projects within short time periods through effective time management;

• Manage projects and associated budgets;

• Communicate with clients, landowners, stakeholders and the project team effectively and professionally;

• Build strong working relationships (both internally and externally);

• Effectively manage sub-contractors to ensure timely delivery of works and value for money;

• Undertake critical reviews of third party reports;

• Communicate progress to your line manager at agreed intervals; and

• Follow our internal processes and procedures.

• 2-4 year’s + project development management experience in the renewable energy sector or other related industry

• Excellent English

• Good organizing skills

• Excellent interpersonal skills

• Entrepreneur with good social skills and a positive work spirit

• Strong communicator, you are able to report and contribute to business excellence, optimize the work flows, share your experience, help across countries or regions your peers in shortening their learning curve and improving their rollouts

• Experience of the software in PVSyst, MS Office, AutoCad, SketchUp
