- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to meet business objectives.
- Analyze market trends, material costs, and supplier capabilities to enhance procurement strategies.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and high-quality materials.
- Conduct supplier audits and performance assessments to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Continuously seek opportunities to enhance cost-effectiveness through supplier rationalization, consolidation, and process optimization.
- Mitigate supply chain risks and resolve issues related to material shortages or quality concerns.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and R&D teams to ensure timely material availability.
- Conduct supplier audits and performance assessments to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Bachelor’s degree or above in business administration, supply chain, economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sourcing, costing, purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Proven track record of successfully sourcing new suppliers and achieving cost savings in a strategic sourcing or procurement role.
- Excellent analytical abilities to assess supplier capabilities, pricing structures, and market trends.
- Proficiency in SAP systems and Microsoft Office (Excel ex. Vlook up, Pivot, Match, Index, If etc.)
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency of the English language, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
