System support for Trading system infrastructure that requires low latency, high performance and
reliability:
• Implement, configure and maintain infra for trading system software
• Test and deploy new software for Infrastructure (trading software, OS and relevant server/firmware setup)
• Monitor, evaluate performance, capacity, availability and reliability for system health status and suggest improvements
• Support day-to-day operation, incident and change
• Investigate and coordinate with Application Support team, Trading System partner, relevant vendors, and external customers to perform root cause analysis and solution
• Red Hat Linux system admin experience (such as provisioning, setup, hardening, patch management and preferably with Linux clustering experience)
• Shell scripting experience in Linux environment
• VMWare (v6 and higher) and KVM system support experience
• Storage experience i.e. working with server disks file systems and volume management software (like LVM) and understanding various RAID levels
• Experience with working with infrastructure like racks hardware specifically Dell servers (BIOS iDRAC etc)
• Knowledge/Experience in Orade (v19 and higher) DBMS administration and database backup/restoration in Linux environment is strongly preferred
• Fast learning / self-development
• Can work under pressure
• Good analytical and communication skill
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, IT or related fields
