• Provide Technical and Application support to the customer under the guidance of the Application Support Manager
• Persuading customers on the suitability of our products or service will best satisfy their needs
• Assist S&M team in creating a differentiation from competition
• Meet customers on a regular basis to have their feedback on our product and service quality, efficacy of use of our product in their process
• Continuously looking toward collating market intelligence and sharing same with S&M team to support timely action
• Work in close coordination with S&M team and Production team to ensure that quality of product supplies is as per customer expectation
• Maintain historical data for last trouble shooting cases and lessons learnt
• Look for potential prospects / leads, though market study, desk research, industry reference to develop customer base
• Assist in increasing MS at existing customers through improved customer support and solutions rendering
• Develop existing customer base and expand new customers opportunities with selected major customers
• Conduct site visits at customer and as well our plant visits to continue to align customer expectations with production & QC team
• Travelling to visit potential customers
• Establishing new, and maintaining existing, relationships with customers
• Collecting all competitors’ information and technical documents
• Coordinate with relevant teams to solve troubleshooting actions as may be required in the situation
• Maintain active memberships and participation in relevant industry associations and technical support groups
• Understand and report competitor strengths, weakness and activities
• Develop product usage and value creation matrix and to market that to target customers, Conduct product lab and process trials at customer end establish “Value In Use” concept to create differentiation with competition and drive for better pricing
• Coordinate and understand the new innovative products and application concepts being developed and followed at Carmeuse global level to implement in the local industry (as and when needed)
• Follow- up and influence the evolution in standardization of lime & limestone applications with the customers
• Participate fully in all assigned marketing Cross Functional Teams and contribute actively to the development and execution of the industry sector market plans for the region
• Highlight all customer support requirements and ensure relevant resources are brought into play to resolve issues
• Maintain a minimum active prospect list as agreed with Country & Key Account Manager and measured by potential business volume and numbers of active prospect accounts
• Maintain active memberships and participation in relevant industry associations and technical support groups
• Understand and report competitor strengths, weakness and activities and able Read P&ID
