Responsibilities
1. Piping Design and Specification:
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and schematics to ensure the piping design meets project requirements.
• Collaborate with the design team to optimize piping layouts, material selection, and system configurations.
• Ensure the piping design complies with relevant codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., ASME, ANSI, local building codes).
• Provide technical input and recommendations to the design team to improve the piping system's functionality and efficiency.
2. Construction Management:
• Manage the installation, testing, and commissioning of piping systems, including coordinating with subcontractors and vendors.
• Monitor construction progress, identify and resolve issues, and ensure the timely completion of piping-related tasks.
• Conduct site inspections to verify the quality of workmanship and adherence to specifications.
• Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure the integrity of the installed piping systems.
3. Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving:
• Investigate and diagnose any issues or defects in the piping systems, such as leaks, blockages, or pressure problems.
• Develop and implement corrective actions to address identified problems, ensuring the integrity and functionality of the piping systems.
• Provide technical support and guidance to the construction team, subcontractors, and clients.
• Recommend and oversee the implementation of preventive maintenance strategies to minimize future issues.


Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Piping Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction or piping project management
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
• Strong understanding of piping materials, installation techniques, and relevant codes and standards
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with project management software and documentation practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
