- Lead the development and qualification of supplier products/processes for new components.
- Resolve component quality and delivery issues through coordination with internal teams and suppliers.
- Conduct supplier capability assessments to evaluate quality tools, manufacturing capabilities, and lean practices.
- Oversee the supplier PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) and manage compliance with industry standards like RoHS and REACH.
- Perform supplier audits, manage risk assessments, and address corrective actions.
- Drive cost-effective manufacturing process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Support supplier performance reviews, root cause analysis, and improvement projects.
- Collaborate on new product introduction and material qualification processe
- Lead initiatives to optimize supplier measurement alignment and reduce in-coming inspection needs.
- Promote cost reduction and continuous improvement projects within the supply base.
- Certified Lead Auditor in recognized standards (e.g., AS9100).
- Proficient in 8D problem-solving and root cause analysis.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings, manufacturing processes, and material specifications.
- Effective in working independently or within cross-functional, diverse environments.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and data presentation skills.
- Experience in supplier risk management and performance evaluation.
- Skilled in driving improvements in quality and cost management across the supply chain.
- 5-day work week
