Warehouse Worker

LOCATION: Bangkok

SALARY: Starting from TH฿ 332,543 per annum

WORK HOURS: 40/48 hours per week

The job holder is responsible for providing logistics and administrative support to various offices supported by the Regional Services Center (RSC). This job will provide support to over 200 US Direct Hires located at the US Embassy in Bangkok, Thailand. The job holder will be required to handle multiple logistical tasks to include warehouse work, inventory management, transportation, shipping, procurement requests, and various ad-hoc duties to include airport expediting services, assist with cargo flights and building crates. They will be responsible for daily communication with US Government personnel, orally and written, and should have a good grasp of the English language. 

(1) Education: Completion of Secondary school/High school is required.

(2) Experience: A minimum of two years’ experience in warehousing, or supply chain is required.

(3) Language: (This may be tested)

• Limited knowledge (Reading/Writing/Speaking) of Thai is required.

• Limited knowledge (Reading/Writing/Speaking) of English is required. You are required to pass the English Placement Test (EPT) that is conducted by the Regional Human Resources Office, or submit a copy of valid TOEIC score (Listening and Reading Section) of at least 400 with your application (This may be tested).

• Proficient working knowledge of MS Office Suite with a primary focus on Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word.

• Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle (sedans, passenger, and cargo vans) and navigate throughout the city of Bangkok, outlying areas.

• Must have a valid, current local driver’s license is required. Incumbent must be at least 25 years old and have been holding the a driver's license for a minimum of five years is required. Please submit a driver's license with your application.

• Knowledge of inventory management and warehouse operations.

• Familiarity navigating throughout Metropolitan Bangkok and surrounding areas.
