Scope of Work (SOW):
The Operations Director is responsible for:
1. Strategic Planning & Execution
• Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Monitor industry trends and market conditions to enhance operational efficiency.
• Set performance goals and ensure alignment with the company's mission and vision.
2. Process Optimization & Efficiency
• Identify inefficiencies in workflows and implement process improvements.
• Oversee standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure compliance.
• Drive automation and digital transformation initiatives for increased productivity.
3. Financial & Budget Management
• Develop and manage the operations budget to optimize costs.
• Monitor financial performance, reduce waste, and enhance profitability.
• Ensure cost-effective procurement and supply chain management.
4. Leadership & Team Management
• Lead, mentor, and manage operations teams to improve performance.
• Set clear objectives, conduct performance evaluations, and provide development opportunities.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
5. Supply Chain & Logistics Management
• Oversee procurement, inventory control, and logistics to ensure operational efficiency.
• Establish relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
• Minimize disruptions in supply chain and optimize distribution channels.
6. Compliance & Risk Management
• Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and company policies.
• Develop risk management strategies to mitigate operational risks.
• Implement health, safety, and environmental standards.
7. Technology & Systems Integration
• Oversee the implementation of technology solutions to enhance efficiency.
• Ensure seamless integration of operational systems and data analytics.
• Monitor IT infrastructure to support business operations.
8. Customer Experience & Service Delivery
• Improve customer service processes and satisfaction levels.
• Optimize service delivery models to enhance client retention and brand reputation.
• Ensure operational activities align with customer expectations and business goals.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 10+ years in operations management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills.
• Expertise in process optimization and operational strategy.
• Strong financial acumen and budget management skills.
• Knowledge of supply chain, logistics, and risk management.
• Proficiency in data analysis, ERP systems, and operational tools.
