Procurement Engineer

• Coordinate with purchase requester to identify the specification or primary need for all purchase requests.
• Send request for quotation (RFQ) to potential supplier
• Release supplier selection sheet and share to requester
• Negotiation with suppliers to get reasonable prices, good quality and delivery on time to meet company target.
• Correct supplier information and submit to internal control term in case register new vendor until vendor approved.
• Create and maintenance purchase items master.
• Maintain and update the RFQ status sheet and report to manager for the progress as weekly.
• Maintain and update cost saving/cost avoidance report sheet and report to manager as monthly.
• Work with concerned team to evaluate supplier performance
• Support operation team, NPI team for cost reduction project or any operation improvement
• To contribute supplier relation management, follow by company strategy
• Support technical and engineering information to procurement manager and purchasing team

• Good personality and demonstrate good relationships to team.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/electrical/industrial Engineer or any field with experience at least 3 years in technical purchasing/procurement/sourcing.
• Technical knowledge in industrial products, mechanical / electrical products.
• Familia with procurement / sourcing techniques, INCO term and the commercial trade term.
• Able to advise procurement team and user for technical information according to the requested product or service.
• Good data analysis and presentation skills both writing and speaking.
• Good English skill both speaking and writing (Japanese/Chinese would be advantage)
• Good computer skills such as MS Office, Internet and being able to use enterprise systems such as SAP and ERP would be an advantage.
• Have a service mind and honesty.
