Job Scope:
- Regulatory & Legal Compliance: Monitor all operational processes and procedures using a compliance management system to ensure that the company complies with all outside regulatory and legal requirements as well as internal policies and ethical standards. Being focal point with external local legal consultant in gaining critical recommendations and provide advice to staff and management team. Review contract, agreement or any documents required authorized directors’ signature for legal binding, reach regional legal expert for further support when needed.
- CMC & Risk Management: Work with management team, QA team, and staff to identify and manage regulatory and other relevant business risks. Ensure that an organization has internal controls that adequately measure and manage the risks it faces.
- PDPA/GDPR: Take DPO (Data Protection Officer) role as the primary point of contact within the organization for staff, regulators, and any relevant public bodies on issues related to data protection. Draft new and amend existing internal data protection policies, guidelines, and procedures, in consultation with key stakeholders. Work closely with Data Controller or Data Processor on all matters related to data protection
- Training, Auditing and Consulting: Promote a culture of compliance across all units of the organization. Provide expert advice and educate employees on important compliance requirements. Hold training with across different business units and proactively conduct audits to ensure compliance and address potential issues.
- Strong project management skill
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage sensitive and confidential information
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail
- Great interpersonal skills and ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Experience within a legal, audit and/or risk, QA function department
- English proficiency
- Familiar with GDPR/PDPA is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, major in Business Law is preferrable
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related writing and presentation software
