Purpose of the Role:
The post holder will be responsible for the school’s admissions process. The post holder will report directly to the Head of School and will be a founding member of the administrative team - they will be instrumental in the growth of the administrative team as the school develops.
Responsibilities:
Admissions Strategy
● Support admissions operational strategies and applications from enquiry to registration.
● Understand the journey that each prospective family takes as they consider SBS International
Bangkok, to ensure the admissions experience is clear, positive and engaging throughout. This
includes learning and effectively articulating the school’s points of difference.
● Utilise excellent communication skills to ensure to support the ‘first response’ process through
telephone; email; social media inquiry etc, and be responsible for conversion between each stage
of the process.
● Support the Admissions team to meet standards of best value, and liaise with the Head of School
to develop admissions financial strategies, scholarships and concessions.
● Maximise the recruiting and admissions process by implementing and maintaining an effective
online application process.
● Maintain the School roll utilising the school Management Information System.
● Record and track data to inform the wider analysis and review of the admissions strategy and
enrolment figures.
● Support wider competitor analysis with regards to enrollment features/unique selling points.
SBS International Bangkok, the latest school in the Arthit Ourairat Institution, a group of bilingual and international schools in Thailand, will open to receive the first student cohorts in May 2025, with a view to all KS-13 year groups being filled three years after opening.
The post holder will be responsible for meeting recruitment targets for the initial May 2025 intake, and for further recruitment to meet the three year post opening objective. The postholder will be instrumental in the growth of the administrative team as the school develops.
We are seeking to appoint a capable and experienced colleague to provide management and delivery of the School’s admissions functions to recruit and retain new families and students and support the marketing of the school as it evolves.
The successful candidate will have the capacity to articulate the SBS Bangkok ethos in a compelling manner. They will foster and develop excellent relationships with prospective students and parents, and community stakeholders championing the merits of a SBS education.
The post holder will understand the current educational landscape in Bangkok and have knowledge of local and international student recruitment and marketing strategies to support a start-up school.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, combined with the ability to form and maintain strong relationships, are essential - along with the enthusiasm, energy and a genuine passion for children in education.
Monthly Salary: Up to 25,000 THB depending on qualifications and experience.
