- Analyze and improve the cable production process to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
- Study and compare work methods, production processes, technologies, and industry best practices to implement process improvements.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of production machinery and equipment, such as Extrusion, Stranding, Annealing, and Testing machines, to ensure optimal efficiency.
- Identify and implement strategies to minimize material waste (scrap) and optimize the use of raw materials such as copper, aluminum, and insulation materials.
- Research and apply new materials and production equipment to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Implement QCC, 5S, Kaizen, and Lean Manufacturing principles to drive continuous process improvements.
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance (QA/QC) team to ensure products meet industry standards such as IEC, TIS, UL, and JIS.
- Provide training and knowledge transfer to production staff on process optimization, machine operation, and workplace improvement techniques.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and quality management standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
- Supervise and monitor production operations to ensure they align with the company’s strategic plans.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Experience in production engineering or in a cable manufacturing plant is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in computer programs for design and manufacturing.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations in manufacturing.
