Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and optimize utility systems, including steam boilers, chillers, refrigeration, compressed air systems, HVAC, water treatment, and wastewater management, ensuring maximum efficiency and reliability.
Continuously evaluate system performance to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reduction while maintaining production quality.
Develop and implement strategies to minimize resource consumption, including energy, water, and chemicals, in alignment with sustainability objectives.
Lead projects focused on renewable energy integration, water recycling, and waste heat recovery to reduce the environmental footprint of utility operations.
Monitor energy consumption and implement energy-saving initiatives to reduce costs and emissions without compromising operational performance.
Optimize compressed air systems, steam distribution, and refrigeration processes to achieve energy-efficient operations.
Identify and lead utility system upgrades, such as replacing outdated equipment with energy-efficient technologies or improving automation for better control and monitoring.
Ensure all utility systems comply with local and international safety, environmental, and food manufacturing regulations.
Lead and mentor team engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence.
Develop long-term utility management plans focused on efficiency, reliability, and sustainability.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or specialization in sustainability is an advantage.
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in utility engineering, preferably in beverage or food manufacturing.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work across departments and with external stakeholders.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven mindset.
Strong leadership and project management abilities, with a focus on driving change and innovation.
Proficiency in energy and environmental management systems
In-depth knowledge of utility systems specific to beverage manufacturing, including refrigeration, water treatment, and energy systems.
