Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance plans for all equipment and machinery, particularly continuous autonomous machines, pasteurizers, UHT systems, and aseptic processes.
Lead, mentor, and supervise the maintenance team, ensuring appropriate skill development and performance management.
Monitor and optimize the performance of critical equipment to ensure smooth production processes.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Ensure spare parts inventory is managed efficiently, with minimal overstock or shortages.
Work closely with production and quality departments to identify opportunities to enhance process efficiency, quality, and reliability.
Prepare and manage the maintenance budget, including labor, spare parts, and capital expenditure projects.
Collaborate with external vendors and contractors for equipment procurement, repairs, and upgrades.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and downtime analysis.
Generate reports on key maintenance metrics and present findings to senior management.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
Minimum of 7–10 years of maintenance experience in a food or beverage manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Effective communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.
Proficiency in PLCs, SCADA, and other automation/control systems.
Strong knowledge of pasteurization, UHT, and aseptic processes, as well as continuous autonomous machinery.
