Position Summary:
The Associate Marketing Manager - Content is a key member of the Riverside Marketing team. He/she will be responsible for identifying, gathering information and creating all long and short form editorial copy in support of school marketing activities including scheduling and posting of social media content, in liaison with the Digital Marketing Manager. The Associate Marketing Manager - Content will also be responsible for managing the production of internal and external marketing collateral and other documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
The Associate Marketing Manager - Content should have the following qualities;
Content generation
- Plan content to align with the school’s strategic Admissions and Marketing goals
- Proactively identify opportunities to leverage events, activities and initiatives within the school to enhance its reputation and brand
- Ensure the volume and balance of content effectively and persuasively represents activities across the school
- Research and write original stories and features, check facts and sources and ensure content is of a high quality, including long-form editorial content (news stories, campaign PR editorials, advertorials, blogs)
- Write short-form social media content and create long-form articles for the school website, keeping marketing messages consistent and in line with school’s style guide and branding
- Create clear, concise and compelling brand copy for advertising, website pages, campaigns, articles, emails, letters and newsletters. This includes crafting well-researched articles, writing engaging press releases and developing insightful content
- Interview senior members of staff, students, parents and others to capture compelling stories
- Ensure copy is aligned to the school’s target audience and campaigns
- Identify creative concepts, and ideas for stories relevant to the school
- Assist with the scripting, production and publishing of videos and podcasts
- Proof-read content created by other members of the marketing team, and other members of staff, as appropriate
- Produce photographic and video material to supplement and enhance written content as appropriate with assistance from the Graphic Design team
Social Media Content
- Plan content throughout the year that aligns with marketing objectives
- Identify and produce stories (copy and images)
- Post content on all school social media channels
- Track, analyse and report on channel performance
- Report on competitor channels
School Yearbook
- Collect and compile stories and images for key events during the school year suitable for the yearbook
- To manage the production of the yearbook with third party providers
Marketing Materials
- Manage the development and production of internal and external marketing collateral, e.g., brochures, fliers, posters, event documentation, marketing displays, etc.
- Manage the production of selected internal documents, e.g., teacher planners, curriculum guides, etc.
- Produce clear, concise and high-quality communication materials as part of a critical incident at the school, working closely with the Senior Management Team and the Graphics Team as necessary.
School Profiles
- Record the school’s profile placements on third-party sites
- Update school profiles annually, or as appropriate at other times
Other Responsibilities
- Research and propose suitable school awards
- Participate fully in Marketing and Admissions events as required
- Undertake other marketing tasks as directed by the Riverside Senior Marketing and Communications Manager.
Candidate Profile:
Skills and Experience
- Possess bachelor degree
- Native English speaker
- High quality written and verbal communication skills in English
- High quality grammar and creative writing skills with an acumen for editorial detail
- Well-developed people skills with the ability to build rapport with all members of the school community and external stakeholders
- Relevant copywriting experience preferably on brand campaigns and communications
- Strong proof-reading skills
- Able to prioritise work across multiple projects and work to tight deadlines
- Pro-active attitude
- Team player
- Experience in using website Content Management Systems, preferably Wordpress
- Photography and basic photo-editing skills an advantage

- Experience of working in an educational environment
- Experience in video and podcast production
- Background in journalism
- Ability to communicate in Thai
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator)
