Insurance Claim Coordinator (Cargo/Logistics Claims)

• Handle insurance claims mainly for "Marine Cargo" and "Freight Forwarder Liability" claims by dealing/liaising/ discussing/negotiating with the Insurers, Underwriters, Re-Insurers, Insurance Brokers, Assureds, Applicants, Clients and parties concerned by emails (mainly in English basis) and telephones to obtain all the relevant supporting documents/information for your verifications on claims.

• Control and coordinate with in-house surveyors/adjusters as well as in-house operation teams for handling of insurance claims.

• After receiving the assignments from the Superior, then, contact the Assured to inquire for the circumstances of loss/damage and further dispatching in-house Adjusters/Surveyors to attend an onsite survey for cargo inspections.

• After completion of onsite surveys under "Marine Cargo" and "Freight Forwarder Liability" cases, the in-house surveyors/adjusters would draft their internal surveyor reports, describe all the elements of their findings for your further issuance formal Survey Reports (Initial Report, Preliminary Report, Progress Report, Proposal Report, Final Report and etc) in English and then discuss with the Superior prior submit to the Insurers/Underwriters/Re-Insurers/Applicants.

• Some cases, you may have to attend the meetings with the Insurers, Underwriters, Re-Insurers, Insurance Brokers, Assureds, Applicants, Clients and parties concerned (traveling expenses and traveling allowances would be provided basis), which would be considered its necessity on case-by-case basis.
