Lean & Continuous Improvement Initiatives:
Lead and support lean manufacturing projects to improve production efficiency and reduce costs.
Implement and sustain 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), and other lean methodologies.
Conduct root cause analysis and problem-solving using tools like 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, and A3 Reports.
Develop and implement Standard Work Instructions (SWI) and ensure adherence across teams.
Facilitate and lead Kaizen events, Gemba walks, and cross-functional workshops to drive operational improvements.
Process Optimization & Waste Reduction:
Identify and eliminate non-value-added activities (waste) using Lean principles (TIMWOODS: Transport, Inventory, Motion, Waiting, Overproduction, Overprocessing, Defects, and Skills underutilization).
Optimize workflows, layouts, and production processes to enhance operational efficiency.
Work closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure smooth process integration.
Performance Monitoring & Data Analysis:
Collect and analyze process data to measure improvement impact and identify further opportunities.
Develop and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as cycle time, OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), defect rates, and lead time reduction.
Utilize statistical tools (Six Sigma, SPC, DOE) to enhance process stability and predictability.
Training & Culture Development:
Train and coach employees on Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement strategies.
Promote a culture of Lean thinking and operational excellence across all levels of the organization.
Collaborate with leadership to align Lean initiatives with company goals and objectives.
