Responsibilities

Lead and manage the overall strategy for the Modern Trade channel.
Develop and implement long-term sales plans, driving growth and profitability within the Modern Trade sector.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key retailers and business partners, negotiating terms and agreements to secure optimal placement and sales volume.
Drive category management, sales performance, and promotional activities across all Modern Trade partners.
Collaborate with the marketing, trade marketing, and product teams to ensure cohesive and aligned strategies across product launches, campaigns, and trade activities.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer insights to proactively adjust strategies and maintain a competitive advantage.
Work with the supply chain team to optimize inventory levels and on-time deliveries.
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team to execute the Modern Trade strategy effectively.
Regularly report on performance, sales targets, market conditions, and potential opportunities for business growth to senior management.
Work closely with internal departments (e.g., marketing, finance, and operations) to align business objectives.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
At least 10 years of experience in Key Account Manager in a Modern Trade channel.
Experience with Bedding industry or FMCG with account in Modern Trade Channels is a must.
Proven track record in leading large-scale Modern Trade operations and driving business growth.
In-depth knowledge of the Modern Trade landscape, consumer behavior, and competitive dynamics.
Negotiation & Relationship Management: Strong negotiation skills and ability to build long-term relationships with key retailers.
Strong leadership skills, with experience managing and developing teams.
Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in MS Office, and CRM software; familiarity with trade management tools is a plus.
