Teaching Assistant for EAL Program
Tesol Tree Co., Ltd.- Work with the groups or individuals within the class in the EAL program to improve their academic English at KS1, KS2 and KS3, under the direction of the teacher
- Assist the foreign teacher to teach EAL lessons in the classroom
- Assist in preparing and maintaining the quality of teaching materials, worksheets and books to use in the classroom
- Maintain upkeep and displays within the EAL classrooms, including office and teaching materials
- Maintain upkeep of the programme’s library and book borrowing system
- Coordinate with the mainstream teachers and teaching assistants when required to support the programme’s administration and ensure the correct information of students
- Undertake the shared responsibility with the EAL teacher of children’s health and safety
- Carry out additional duties such as purchasing teaching materials as required and liaising with main school staffs about new students
- Assist the program admin to liaise with all stakeholders in the school as an onsite admin assistant
- Based at an international School (on Ramkhamhang Road, Saphan Sung district)
- University graduates in any fields. Newly graduates are welcome to apply.
- Good communication skills in English
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and browsing on search engines for right information is essential
- A team player with good leadership and interpersonal skills
- Service-minded and able to work independently with efficient time management
- Self-motivated and ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
