The Metro Machinery Group of Companies was founded by the Burapachaisri family which has more than 30 years of experience in the heavy equipment , engine and foundry businesses.

Today, the groups largest company is Metro Machinery Company Limited (MMC), the authorized Caterpillar Dealer in Thailand since 1977. MMC sells and service the complete Caterpillar machine and engine product lines for construction, mining, material handling, agriculture, forestry, petroleum, marine and power generation industries. MMC also sells auxiliary equipment for Caterpillar product and allied products.

With 30 branches and well-trained staff of some 1,200 people, MMC offers Caterpillar equipment users the most extensive parts and service facilities in Thailand.
