The Assistant Manager – Overseas Purchasing encompasses overseeing international procurement by managing the purchase of goods and raw materials from global suppliers, ensuring smooth import processes, and coordinating with suppliers to guarantee timely and compliant deliveries. Additionally, the role involves preparing and controlling Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) in collaboration with relevant departments to align supply with demand.
Key responsibilities include identifying and procuring new materials as needed and negotiating terms with new suppliers to establish favorable conditions. This approach ensures procurement aligns with organizational goals and operational needs.
- Bachelor's degree in any fields.
- Experience in overseas purchasing or procurement within the food industry, preferably in fresh seafood products.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills; proficient in market analysis and supplier management.
- Good in English (both written and spoken) is required.
- Basic Salary: 30,000 – 50,000 THB /Month (Depending on candidate's experience)
