- Ensure strict adherence to the production plan
- Work closely and proactively with planning department to ensure production plan is being followed and customer demand has been met.
- Improve efficiency and productivity for the department responsible.
- To ensure optimum utilization of machine/manpower capacity.
- To ensure quality of parts produced meet drawing/specification applicable.
- Maintain and improve quality standards and systems
- Support all relevant functions to ensure the production plan is met
- Train subordinates in accordance with relevant procedures and work instructions
- Implement changes from management to the workforce
- Continues feedback to the management
- Ensure the workplace safety requirement and regulations are followed strictly.
- Write, maintain and optimize CNC programs to produce complex parts and optimize lathe machines.
- Design, develop and maintain jigs and fixtures to help produce the parts, in close co-operation with Engineering.
- Control team to prepare all necessary equipment to set-up CNC machines in an efficient manner.
- Appraises the performance of the set-up team.
- Ensures strict adherence to all procedures and instructions that apply to the set-up team, including safety, quality and the environment.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering field
- At least 3 years of experience in related industry
- Experience setting up, controlling and adjusting CNC machines, preferably with 4 axis or more
- Experience using CAD/CAM software, preferably SolidWorks and SolidCam
- Preferably experience programming CNC machines
- Working knowledge of quality systems such as ISO, TS or AS
- Strong leadership skills
- Have a good systematic thinking and analytical skills
- Good in English communication both written, spoken
- Ability to work collaborative with individuals in the organization in a team environment
- Ability to work closely together with foreign Management
- Ability to work with and improve systems and procedures, without being bound by them
- Understand of production techniques, used in the fabrication of metallic and/or composite products
- Understand of basic quality control and quality assurance principles, tools and techniques
