Job Summary
Support the information for establishing the resource management plan, piping & layout activity plan and standard operating procedures regarding engineering design and development activities, implement the plan and procedure including monitoring, and control the effectiveness as per plan and SOPs including project requirements, as well as contributing to facilitate problem resolution and continual improvement of Piping & Layout work process
Key Responsibilities
- Support the information to establish the resource management plan of Piping & Layout section, including monitoring and control
- Assist to prepare and implement the engineering standard operating procedures (SOP)
- Assist to prepare the engineering quality plan or any other project tasks.
- Prepare piping engineering deliverable list, schedule and budget for the project, and execute engineering design and development activities of Piping & Layout
- Prepare and issue key documents (datasheet, technical specification, calculation)
- Review the adequacy of design information for project execution
- Control piping engineering deliverables
- Update weekly and monthly progress report of the project.
- Contribute to facilitate problem resolution and work improvement of Piping & Layout
- Bachelor's degree Piping or Mechanical
- Minimum 0-1 years of experiences in detailed engineering (EPC) of Oil & Gas industry
- Experience with detailed design project (EPC) execution.
- Detailed knowledge of piping and pipe supports, both design and calculation.
- Working knowledge of oil and gas industry codes and standards, including but not limited to ASME, and API.

Ever since, over 60 platforms have been fabricated and installed for offshore gas exploration / production in the Gulf of Thailand. TNS is involved in engineering, procurement and construction of steel structure, process, piping, mechanical, electrical & Instrumentation for offshore platforms, bridges and on-land structure fabrication. There are fabrication yards under TNS establishment, namely AMARA yard and BANGPAKONG yard. In view of our rapid work expansion, we are seeking capable, self-driven and energetic professional Oil & Gas design personnel for the following positions to support our Oil & Gas sector EPC and fabrication business.
Candidates should be committed to Quality and Safety, flexibility, innovation and a pro-active approach to engineer and design and activities. Experience in engineer design and a through knowledge of relevant codes & standards. Good communication skills, with fluency in English (both written and spoken), are essential requirements. Engineering Candidates are required to have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineer with 8-12 years of experience. All roles require a pro-active approach to inter-discipline coordination and also technical supervision and input to development of design actives. At least 4 years previous experience in a similar job with an engineer consultancy or EPC primarily in the upstream oil and gas sector is preferred.
