Production Management:
Lead and manage the SMT production team to achieve production goals while maintaining quality standards. Monitor production schedules, resolve production issues, and ensure adherence to timelines.
Process Optimization:
Analyze production processes and identify areas for improvement. Implement process enhancements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize resource utilization.
Quality Control:
Ensure all SMT production activities meet the required quality standards and industry specifications. Collaborate with the quality assurance team to address any defects or quality issues.
Team Leadership:
Manage and supervise the SMT production team, including training, performance evaluations, and fostering a positive working environment. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
Equipment Maintenance:
Oversee the maintenance and calibration of SMT machines and equipment. Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed and machines are operating at optimal capacity.
Inventory Management:
Monitor and manage inventory levels of raw materials, components, and consumables used in SMT production. Ensure that all materials are available for uninterrupted production.
Health and Safety:
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to safety protocols, conducting regular safety training, and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory safety standards.
Reporting:
Prepare and present regular reports on production performance, issues, and improvements to senior management. Provide analysis and data-driven recommendations for future production strategies.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in SMT production or a similar manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of SMT processes, equipment, and troubleshooting techniques.
Experience with production planning, scheduling, and resource management.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
Good understanding of quality control principles and standards.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
Proficient in using production management software and tools.
Good communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or other manufacturing-related methodologies.
Previous experience in a managerial role in an SMT environment.
