- Delivers company’s profit and cash flow commitments through:
Building Fiscal Year Company financial goals i.e, Annual Operating Plan as well as updating the current trend through Monthly forecast
- Maximizing store level profitability.
- Play a key role in determining business strategies including:
- Providing recommendation to management on the financial impact of brand positioning and promotion strategies including reference to risk involved.
- Working with Business Development & Supply Chain teams to drive effectiveness in the organization e.g. cost saving and/or process improvement.
- Keeping update for future trend of Bakery, Restaurant and Food Service industry.
- Providing input on planned and alternative marketing strategies based on financial analysis.
- Recommending to minimize the cost impact.
- Highlighting and anticipating impact from changes of macro-economic and government policy towards Brand bottom line.
- Safeguards company asset and leads in feasibility study of capital spending including:
- Reviewing financial for new and closure store proposal (Capital appropriation)
- Reviewing the tracking spending against budgeting process.
- Builds effective planning system to incorporate business complexity and to increase speed/accuracy of forecasting process and business analysis.
- Process Improvement with Accounting Shared Service
- Participating on implementing new system to enhance the effectiveness of business analysis.
- Ensures and supports accurate and timely reports for management team.
- Identifying appropriate presentations for management teams to focus on trends, issues, and potential corrective actions.
- Imparts financial knowledge to the whole organization via conducting training
- Assists in the generation of commitment from project teams towards common goals.
- Performs other duties as assigned by direct supervisor.
