- Oversee and direct the day-to-day management of the non-motor claims program, ensuring proper and efficient handling of claims.
- Develop and implement claims handling guidelines and directives.
- Manage and set strategy for claims operations, focusing on non-motor insurance lines.
- Ensure coverage analysis and decisions regarding extension or denial of insurance coverage are appropriately evaluated and communicated to Management.
- Create and analyze weekly and monthly claim metric reports for management and stakeholders.
- Drive, monitor, and report on service and adjudication consistency in handling claims processes and procedures.
- Identify areas of improvement and cost control regarding Claims Management.
- Facilitate the delivery of training across the business regarding the implementation of changes relating to Claims.
- Develop and maintain relationships with insurers, solicitors, and adjusters.
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in underwriting or claims management, with a focus on non-motor insurance.
- Good communication in English.
- Strong knowledge of insurance products, contracts, funding, and rating techniques.
- Proven experience in the management and analysis of claims.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and drive a culture of customer-centricity.
- Familiarity with P&C insurance.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field; advanced degree or professional insurance designations preferred.
